Bram, aka Ibrahim, last name pronounced "HICK-mawt", hails from North Hampton, New Hampshire. An avid skier, he found his way to Utah because of our awesome snow.
Bram graduated from Salt Lake City’s Westminster University with a degree in Communication. While there he was a member of Westminster’s Honors College — one of only two honors colleges in Utah and considered by those who know one of the best honors programs in the country. The College afforded a select group of bright students (like Bram) cross-discipline courses (including STEM courses) taught using a Socratic style of learning.
When Bram arrived at Westminster, the school had a snowboard team, but no ski team. Unacceptable! Putting his snow passion and organizational skills to work, he was able to create (and win awards for) the Westminster Freeski team. Both the Snowboard and Freeski teams are part of the US Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association.
You’ll see from the photos and video that freestylers spend a lot of time not on the snow, but in the air.
Summer finds Bram on the golf course and living a fun life with his “beautiful girlfriend”.
Bram joined the Hogan team this past May.
